1990 Ford Bronco ~ Eddie Bauer Edition, 4x4 Sport Utility Truck. We are the second owners, bought the vehicle in 1992. 183,594 original miles - mostly long distance trips. Nice truck in good condition, just doesn't get used anymore. This Bronco has the big 5.8 EFI V-8 engine, which has been very reliable all these years. We have never towed with the vehicle and never removed the hardtop. The transmission was replaced around the 100,000 mile mark. There are no major issues with the truck, but the brakes and exhaust will need to be addressed soon (brakes are grabby/touchy and the exhaust is rusted through in spots). The tires are all about 5/32 tread. The windshield wiper motor is on the fritz and will need to be replaced. The rear window switch on the dash doesn't work, so the rear window needs to be lowered with the key. The driver door lock doesn't work properly. The radio works but the backlight doesn't. The current tabs are good to July 2019. Also, anyone familiar with the Ford Bronco's knows about the rust on the tailgate (see photos). The hood and quarter panels were flaking the clearcoat back in the mid-90's and we had them re-painted. Now, some of that clearcoat is flaking off again. Ford also had issues with the paint flaking off and this Bronco does show signs of that on the front. There are some minor surface rust spots but nothing major. This is a 28 year old vehicle, so cosmetic issues should be expected. Hopefully we covered everything - if you have any questions or want to see the truck, please let us know. Offered today at NO RESERVE is a Very Rare 5 Speed Manual Rust Free Bronco 4x4. This Bronco Starts and runs, shifts and drives. It has the typical loose shifter and that will need attention , it still shifts , but the throws are loose and wobbly. I believe there is a bushing that dries out and needs replaced. Bronco starts and runs but seems like it has fouled plugs or low fuel pressure?? Lacks proper acceleration and seems to have a bit of a mis-fire. I normally do not sell vehicles with any sort of mechanical imperfections.... HOWEVER, the last Manual Full sized Bronco I sold here, I literally had people asking me to find them a similar one since they missed out on mine for over 2 years. So if you don't want to put some mechanical fun time into this ole gal, please bid on the competition, if you can ever find one.... The AC seems to work okay , however its been cold in AZ!! I know, I know 55 isn't cold for most of you, but the Golf Courses are chilly at 6 AM!! The miles are exempt due to these Fords had only 5 digit odos in 1990 making verification rather unreliable. The paint is faded and original! I have been working on this bronco for over three years. It has had many items replaced/fixed. The engine was removed and the following was replaced: -fuel pump -water pump -oil pump -oil pan (fel-pro rubber seal) -rear main seal -thermostat housing/thermostat -radiator -radiator hoses -valve cover gaskets (fel-pro rubber) -timing chain -transmission pan, filter, fluid -heater core -smog equipment was deleted -upgraded alternator -hooker long tube headers -dual hooker turbo mufflers (new, not installed) -new serpentine belt Also have done the following: -replaced clutch fan with dual electric. One fan is connected to a temperature module and the other to a switch in the dash. -installed custom panel that holds the fuses and relays for added accessories -blue led accent lighting -big 3 electrical upgrade -6 inch Rough Country lift -Fuel Anza 15” wheels -Custom Move bumper (has winch opening) -LED light bar -LED bumper spot/parking lights -Dick Cepek 35” tires -in dash flip up LCD radio/dvd player -backup camera with parking guide -new carpet -entire interior covered with heat shield/sound deadener What it needs: -exhaust pipe/mufflers installed (header back) -dent in drivers side from suicidal deer: was quoted $500 by a local body shop -passenger door window regulator is noisy but works: if you can’t take the sound these are around $40 on Amazon -a few small odds and ends but no major needs.
